About Me
Hello, I’m Jane Kusuma and I’m the woman behind Jovietajane Creative Studio.
I have worked in the creative industry for close to 2 decades.
Before this studio was founded, I had the privilege of working in a small boutique firm in Texas as a Graphic Artist working on packaging and branding for companies such as Hasbro Toys, Mattel and Disney. I moved to Seattle in 2014 and became Senior Graphic Designer for The Pokémon Company International creating Brand Guidelines and In-House Event Graphics.
The past 5 years, I have worked with Riot Games, The Knot, Ravensburger Lorcana and a number of local small businesses. It has been a very rewarding and challenging journey running a studio during worldwide pandemic.
In March 2024, I decided to take a big leap to become a Tattoo Artist. I am currently an apprentice with NieU Studio in Downtown Seattle. I will be taking on tattoo clients and select few illustration projects in 2024-2025.

I live and work in Seattle with my husband Juan who is an awesome staff sound designer at Bungie and our little westie pup, Jasper. When I’m not working, I’m drinking coffee, trying out new restaurants around town with friends, drawing, painting and scheming our next travel destinations.
